Common questions
What's the catch with the free status page?
A small GreenPing badge in your page footer, and the limits: one page, 10 components, 100 confirmed subscribers. Upgrading to Pro ($9/mo) removes the badge and raises the limits — but the free plan never expires.
Can I use my own domain on the free plan?
Custom domains (status.yourcompany.com) are a Pro feature at $9/month. Free pages live at greenping.live/s/your-name, which is fully shareable.
Do free pages get email notifications?
Yes — subscriber emails work identically on every plan: double opt-in confirmation, a notification for each incident update, and one-click unsubscribe.
How fast is setup really?
Sign up, name your page, and it's live — about two minutes. Sample components are seeded so you can see the page working immediately, then rename or replace them.
